Help us build a better classroom
Hi Friends,
I want to make sure my students have the materials they need to succeed, so I just created a request for my classroom at DonorsChoose.org:
http://www.donorschoose.org/laurendearmas
F.I.T. (Fun Interactive Training) Kids
Give to my classroom by September 21, 2014 and your donation will be doubled thanks to DonorsChoose.org. Just enter the code INSPIRE on the payment page and you’ll be matched dollar for dollar (up to $100).
If you chip in to help my students, you’ll get awesome photos and our heartfelt thanks.
Thanks so much,
Mrs. Lauren De Armas
IB Physical Education
P.S. If you know anyone who may want to help my classroom, please pass this along!
Parents, there will be a special meeting for our CURRENT 7th GRADERS on September 17th from 6-7 PM to share more information about our upcoming summer class trip! We hope to see you there!

We’re excited to have you join AARP Foundation, the Miami Dolphins and the Miami Dolphins Foundation, as we work together to pack One Million Meals for struggling older adults in South Florida. All meals will be donated to Feeding South Florida.
Volunteers will work an assembly line, combining ingredients and vitamins, to make one million nutritious meals of rice and beans. In preparation for packing meals, please take a few minutes to review this short training video from our food supplier, Outreach, Inc.
AARP Foundation, a charitable affiliate of AARP, works with struggling people 50 and over so they can regain their confidence as good providers and members of their communities. We focus on four priorities where immediate action and legal advocacy will have the greatest impact: hunger, income, housing and isolation.
** Please make sure to fill out the attached waiver and bring with you upon check-in **
