Upcoming Volunteer Opportunity

Miami-Dade County Division of Environmental Resources Management (DERM) will be providing FREE trees to the community through its popular Adopt-a-Tree program.

Come to the final event of 2017 on:

Saturday, November 18th

from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. at

Miami-Dade Parks and Recreation- Natural Areas Management (Plant)

22200 SW 134th Ave (entrance on SW 134th Avenue at SW 222nd Street)

Residents eligible to adopt trees will be able to choose from Sugar Apple, Firebush, Carambola and Simpson’s Stopper.  However, tree quantities are extremely limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.  Participants will be required to fill out a registration form available at the event.  Those residents who have already adopted 2 trees for their property in 2017 are not eligible.  For information on rules, eligibility and tree info please visit Adopt-a-Tree.
